You can always position a curved sofa or sectional in a corner in which case you’ll be left with an empty little space behind it. You can fill that with a floor lamp, a tall plant or some other suitable accent piece or decoration. Another option is to include the sofa or sectional in a circular grouping. Maybe you could pair it with a couple of armchairs or poufs to complete the circle or you could have it face a fireplace. Also, if possible, it would be nice to have the sofa or sectional placed across from a focal point or a window with a nice view.

Some ottomans can be quite long, and even be used as benches. Also, an ottoman can be used as a coffee table or end table if you want your tables to have a softer appeal.
