I still remember hunter green patterned velour, puffy back, reclining sectionals that completely dwarfed even the largest of rooms… and I shudder. But sectionals have come so far since I was a girl in the early 90’s. And I am thrilled to show you how a HUGE sectional was actually the answer to our rather-on-the-small-side family room.
Design with you in mind. Make sure you’re designing a space that feels homey and comfortable for you and your family. Whether that means kitschy art, funky knickknacks or your favorite throw, stay true to yourself and your lifestyle.
Embrace warm wood tones. The warmth of wood helps to balance out the cool tones often found in gray, so embrace wood where you have it. If you have wood paneling or wood beams overhead, install an eye-catching light fixture to draw the eye upward. If you have wood built-ins, style them with colorful, curated accessories to ensure they’re a focal point.
3. Glittery gold: Gold color never failed to lighten up a room and make it looks more elegant. This color is softer than silver. It is no wonder; that undoubtedly; it is the new trend in this year. Choosing glittery gold as the theme does not mean that you should choose sofa in this color. For perfection with colorful sofa; you should have dark painted wall.
2. Shade in ombre: Lately; the trend of ombre is started to be applied in many different ways. For that reason; you can also maximize your creative skill to apply it in your living room as well. Pick any color of sofa as you like; then make the ombre works for the rest of the living room.
